PixelJunk Eden 2 will return to Eden on PlayStation 5
PlayStation tweeted “As PixelJunk Eden 2 readies to swing onto PlayStation 5, go back to Eden’s gardens.” I’m excited to present PixelJunk Eden 2 on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4! PixelJunk, which debuted on PlayStation 3 in 2007, turned 15 this year. We’re celebrating the milestone with PixelJunk Eden 2 and PixelJunk Scrappers Deluxe for PlayStation on July 27. PixelJunk fans, rejoice!
If you’re new to PixelJunk Eden, I’ll give you an overview of our interesting world. The game’s director, multi-media composer Baiyon, designed Eden as a study of life, color, and melody. As your decisions change the environment, huge gardens hold mysteries in exotic plant life. As you search for pollen and hidden riches, the gardens will grow, extend, and alter visually.
Since PixelJunk Eden premiered on PlayStation over ten years ago, we’ve worked hard to create this all-new PS5 experience as a follow-up to the beloved original. Jump, spin, and swing through each level to see the environment change. You never know who you’ll meet on the road because Grimps have different personalities and skills. The journey teaches new skills.
More than 20 Grimps can be played, and 40 spices provide hundreds of starting combinations. Grimp Abilities—from unlimited jumping to improved pollen collection—create a personalized experience when combined with one-time-use spices. Grimps, blooms, and stages complement the sensuous electronic tune.
